There are some similarities:
|
- You will need a level sub-floor (with no voids greater than 3".)
- High spots can be sanded down.
- Low spots can be filled in.
- You must allow for 1/4" gap between all walls.
- You should allow your laminate flooring to acclimate to its surroundings.
- Allow several days for the laminate flooring to adjust to the room.
- You should use the specific products listed in the manufacturer's installation instructions; as this will give you the best looking finished floor and ensure that you do not void the manufacturer's warranty on your new laminate.
